Super Hero Science is the forty ninth storyline in EGS:NP. It started with the EGS:NP Comic for 2019-07-15 and ended with the EGS:NP Comic for 2019-08-26.
It starts with question of how exactly bullet-proof heroes work and shows Cheerleadra as example, with Tedd trying to do experiments but getting ... distracted.
Summary[]
Tedd watched a superhero cartoon where bullets bounced off the superhero.[1] Then Tedd asked Justin how an invulnerable superhero's skin would feel to the touch. Justin suggested that it should feel normal since superheroes can keep their identities secret from their dates but couldn't come up with an explanation of how.[2] Rich suggested that the defenses of a superhero's skin only react to high force. He liked that explanation because it would mean that superheroines' breasts could be bouncy.[3] Tedd noted that superheroes with such powers could be harmed by weapons moving slowly and Justin said that one comic had a knife shattering against a superheroine's breast.[4]
Later Tedd (now in feminine form) talked to Elliot about the Cheerleadra form. Elliot said that his spellbook didn't explain how Cheerleadra's durability works but mentioned that Cheerleadra's healing uses non-magic energy, making him hungry after being injured as Cheerleadra.[5] Tedd asked if Cheerleadra's skin feels different and Elliot answered that he wasn't sure as Cheerleadra wears gloves except once when he used the form to float while showering.[6] Elliot suggested that they test if Cheerleadra's skin felt different and noted that they were comfortable with casual cuddling and Tedd tends to focus on science rather than sexual attraction while doing science.[7]
Then Elliot transformed into Cheerleadra.[8] Then Elliot took off their gloves and boots and said that they should have turned into Cheerleadra without the costume, realizing the awkward implications of that wording too late.[9] Tedd was annoyed by her attraction to Elliot. Elliot found that their skin felt normal to the touch but noted that it might feel different to someone else.[10] Tedd asked if Elliot is stronger as Cheerleadra. Elliot said that their spellbook says so but Tedd suggested that it might mean stronger relative to their smaller muscles.[11] Then Elliot flew in a circle, which made them dizzy.[12] The dizziness made Elliot collapse into a suggestive position onto Tedd.[13] Tedd was still unsure how Elliot's skin felt as there wasn't enough skin contact.[14] Elliot and Tedd fantasized about kissing to find out[15] and decided to find their girlfriends because they would get carried away.[16]
The next day Elliot told Tedd that they had confirmed that Cheerleadra's skin feels normal to the touch since Ellen had tickled them while they were Cheerleadra.[17]
