Sister II, subtitled Awakenings, is the twelfth storyline group in the main canon of EGS. It opened on April 18th, 2008, and ended on January 21, 2010, making it the storyline group that took the most time to make until Pandoras Box, with a total of 133 pages.

This story arc has the following subplots:

  • Susan's battle against the Moperville North High School uniforms continues. At first many students (who seem almost hive-minded) hate her and half of her feminist society leaves. Catalina comforts her and asks her out on a date, which Susan at first turns down because she is not interested in that kind of relationship but then Susan decides to hang out with Catalina anyway because she still values her friendship. Then Tedd convinces the other student to support Susan. Susan and Catalina are interviewed by Carol Brown for TV. Later the school uniform policy is anticlimactically abolished because of complaints about laundry.
  • Elliot has energy buildups and Edward Verres explains that they (and Ellen's energy buildups) are caused by their improper awakening.
  • Nanase is frustrated because her new spells are sneaky since she keeps many secrets from her mother. After her fight with Abraham (see below) she comes out as lesbian to her mother.
  • Abraham, the wizard who originally created the Dewitchery Diamond, has reawakened from a magically induced slumber as he has sworn an oath to kill the product of the magical object he created, and is thus targeting Ellen. Nanase defeats him with her new angel form spell at the cost of magical burnout for months.
  • Pandora reveals that her actual plan for Magus is to make Edward kill Abraham. When Magus refuses she attacks him.

The art changes during this storyline. Parts 1-4 are in color, part 5 is nearly black and white (with some grey backgrounds) and parts 6-10 are in greyscale like most storylines.

The Trials of Susan[]

The arc opened with a cover page featuring Elliot, Ellen, and a shadowed person with a sword and angelic wings (the shadowed person is probably Abraham and the wings probably belong to Nanase, specifically her angel spell). At the bottom, in an ellipse, Raven complained on the grammar of the subtitle (he seems to have doubts about the grammatical validity of plural gerunds) while Catalina (as an actual cat girl) thought it sounded cool.[1]

At Moperville North High School just before lunch on Monday, March 11, Tedd worried about Grace at Moperville South High School (it was her first school day) while Elliot was more worried about Susan since many students hated her (as shown in the storyline Susan Draws The Line, there was an anti-feminist backlash against Susan's campaign against the school uniforms) and they argued who was worse off. Just then Susan had an outburst of yelling and said she was stressed out. She also said she would transfer schools if things didn't change about the uniforms.[2] Tedd and Elliot pledged their support for her cause and Susan said that she would take Elliot's support for granted as he would help his worst enemy if necessary.[3] Sarah arrived without her beret and Susan told her she liked when she wore it, prompting her to get it. Susan discussed the consequences of her leaving the school and admitted the solution was not ideal. Tedd offered to give Susan an androgynous male form, even though it was against his nature, but was stared down.[4]

Meanwhile, at Moperville South High School during lunch, Ellen hugged Nanase which startled her and led to a discussion of the events of the Squirrel In The Classroom storyline. Justin then shared the gossip that was going around the school about them,[5] including some speculating, inspired by the movie American Cake (based on the real-world The Brady Bunch Movie and named for American Pie), that Ellen was seducing Grace and Grace was too naive to understand what was happening.[6] Next Nanase shared about her use of magic at school and the consequences of it.[7]

Back at Moperville North at lunch, Susan put off lunch to work on her plans for the feminist meeting that afternoon while Tedd explained why he keeps his hair long.[8] Later at the meeting, most of the members except Sarah, Catalina, and Susan herself arrived late only to announce their quitting of the club since they were not serious about it. This angered Catalina who suffered an outburst of yelling.[9] Sarah tried to comfort Susan, who told her that they needed at least seven members to be recognized by the school; Catalina said they could just recruit new members.[10] Later, Susan discussed Sarah's choice for providing pamphlets, Victor Von Hip, and Catalina shocked Susan by asking her out.[11] Catalina was herself taken aback when Susan told her that she wasn't lesbian. Upon realizing her mistake, Catalina backpedaled and ran out of the room crying. Susan sat down as she digested what just happened and heard Catalina sobbing.[12]

A little earlier, Tedd arrived home and was greeted by a glomp from Grace. Grace told him about school. She then told him about her weirdness rampage upon getting home and displayed her growing maturity about sexuality.[13] They then discussed the wearing of their comfort accessories and Grace suggested the invention of a pair of glasses that instantly dress or undress the wearer when put on or taken off respectively.[14] Later Tedd had an instant messaging conversation with Sarah about Grace and Susan that mirrored his conversation with Elliot. When Sarah explained what had happened that afternoon Tedd finally understood Elliot and Sarah's worry about Susan.[15]

The Statue[]

At a museum in Britain several hours before Ellen's creation (January 30, in the storyline Sister), a museum guide showed some tourists a statue with the inscription "I rise only to reap what I have sown" on its pedestal and explained its mysterious and possibly magical origin. A couple of American tourists denied that it was magical since they did not believe it existed and insisted it must have been a stunt.[16] Later, when Elliot touched the Dewitchery Diamond and created Ellen, the statue and the video cameras watching the statue simultaneously exploded[17] and Abraham emerged. He subsequently magically changed his clothes to his impression of "modern garb" and gave himself "modern knowledge" and left leaving the remains of the inscription to read "I rise to reap".[18]

Pent-Up Magic[]

Back in the present day (night before Tuesday, March 12), Abraham summoned a bloodgrem to track down Ellen since he couldn't go into the school.[19] That morning Elliot woke up to find he had changed to female while he slept[20] and after calming down he managed to change back but not before Ellen heard him speak in a feminine voice.[21]

While Susan drove to school she daydreamed of what it would be like to go on a date with Catalina. She got so distracted that she forgot to drive during a green light.[22] At Moperville North High School Sarah and Elliot met with Susan and everyone wondered where Tedd was, Susan assumed he was doing something juvenile. They were distracted by a commotion that turned out to be Tedd in a vest (which only the girls were supposed to wear).[23] The students teased him about it. Tedd told them he was wearing the vest in protest about the uniform policies. Dick called him "as wacked out as the crazy chick" and rejected Tedd's correction that she is named Susan. Tedd told the students off for mocking the people who are trying to get the uniform policy changed.[24] When Sandi expressed her view on it, Tedd rebuked her for hampering Susan's cause instead of doing something about the issue at hand. Tony did not take this rebuke well but some of the other students apologized. Susan had to fight the desire to hug him[25] and Catalina ended up doing it.[26] Tedd and Catalina talked about her feelings for Susan and Tedd hugged Catalina to comfort her.[27]

Meanwhile, at Moperville South High School, Nanase took Ellen to a restroom to show her her new spells. After she verified no one and nothing was watching, Nanase demonstrated her clothing exchange spell[28] and explained how it worked. She then showed Ellen a picture of her other spell,[29] which summons a semi-autonomous copy of her and described her experience at trying it out for the first time.[30] Ellen then told her that she should hide less stuff from people to get non-hiding spells; specifically that she should reveal to her mother her true clothing preferences. When they left the restroom they encountered Mr. Raven who asked if she and Nanase were friends. When Ellen said yes, Raven responded with "excellent",[31] leading her to imagine him a pimp and discussing it with Nanase. Nanase told her about Raven's other favorites, what that status entailed and how he was much older than he looks.[32]

Later, Ellen related Nanase's new spells to Grace. Grace was happy for her since she had always wanted to hug herself and Ellen allowed her to hug her. Ellen said they would have to make their hugs seem less unusual and Grace suggested that she could also start hugging Nanase and Justin in addition to Ellen. When Nanase met with Justin she asked him to take her to the mall so she could make some changes to her appearance and wardrobe.[33]

At Moperville North, Elliot discussed with Tedd about joining the feminist club and Tedd said Susan would probably want to keep the club "girls only". Meanwhile, at the club table, Susan told Sarah that she had a change of heart and would like Tedd and Elliot as part of the club and reflected on the improbability of Tedd's actions in defense of her.[34] A girl named Liz came up to the club table, asked to join and complained about the uniforms effect on her boyfriend.[35] Sandi came up and asked to rejoin and apologized for leaving in the first place.[36] Matt Cohen came up and asked if he could help and Susan said he could pass out pamphlets to which he said he would do his best at it.[37]

Back at Elliot and Tedd's table, they were playing a multiplayer card game when Elliot suddenly had an irresistible urge to transform. He excused himself and told Tedd it was something he ate. Elliot rushed to the restroom[38] and, trying to contain his urge, imagined what Grace might do in his situation. Elliot ended up transforming anyway and two boys walked in. Elliot apologized for being in there before noticing his voice and reflection in the mirror[39] and realizing that he looked like a combination of Ellen or himself and Grace. Elliot walked out of the restroom and tried to think about why he transformed that way and tried to find a place to change back. Without realizing, he walked past Tedd. Tedd did not recognize him because of his appearance but he did text Susan about him.[40] When Susan started walking towards him, Elliot ran away and ended up in the school auditorium which was empty.[41] While going behind the curtains he noticed a box that moved and picked it up. When it turned out to contain the bloodgrem Elliot was startled and threw the box, which angered the bloodgrem.[42]

Evil Monkey[]

When Elliot realized that he had thrown the bloodgrem he tried apologizing to it. The bloodgrem considered Abraham's advice to avoid fights but disregarded it and attacked Elliot anyway. When Elliot realized it was going to attack he grabbed a broom to defend himself.[43] The bloodgrem grabbed on to the end of the broom and Elliot threw it away from him. The bloodgrem bit the broom in half and prepared to attack with half of the broken broom. Elliot defended himself with a screwdriver[44] before grabbing the broken broom handle from the bloodgrem and kicking him away. He thought that it reminded him of the Goo and Lord Tedd. When it returned Elliot had changed back to male[45] and the bloodgrem saw that his aura was not of the abomination, Ellen.[46]

The bloodgrem ran away and was seen by the Panicked Schoolgirl who called animal control. The bloodgrem spotted Tony[46] and was about to attack him when Elliot intervened and punched it to the point of unsummoning it. Elliot recalled Susan's remark about him helping his worst enemy and realized he may have done just that.[47]

Elliot found Tedd at the feminist club table with Susan and Sarah and asked Tedd what he was doing there. Tedd responded by asking him where he had been and Sarah expressed concern for Elliot. Susan deduced that it was Elliot who was the girl in the guys uniform she saw earlier and Elliot confirmed her deduction.[48] Susan realized that Elliot's involuntary magic use might also apply to Ellen and text messaged her with great urgency, explaining angrily to Elliot why he could not borrow her phone at that moment. Elliot asked for Tedd's cellphone to call Mr. Verres and told Sarah about the bloodgrem.[49] When Susan finished texting she explained some of the magic system and realized she was naive to assume female Elliot was really a girl since he was still wearing the boys uniform which would have attracted as much attention as she was receiving.[50] Tedd asked Susan to explain more about awakening but she told him his father would explain more. On the Spiritual plane the French Immortals discussed their recognition of Susan now and brought up the topic of Magus.[51]

When Elliot got Mr. Verres on the phone, he discussed the bloodgrem with him[52] and the fact that he had transformed involuntarily. Mr. Verres told him to transform intentionally in private whenever possible and promised to explain further after school.[53] Elliot told him his theory about the connection of the bloodgrem to Lord Tedd and Mr. Verres told him that that was unlikely and that they were already addressing that situation.[54]

Meanwhile, at Moperville South, Ellen received the text message from Susan about how Ellen may have been through an awakening. When Ellen discussed it with Nanase, Nanase figured out what must have happened to Elliot and by extension what was happening with Ellen. Grace confirmed this by relating the sneeze incident (in the storyline Squirrel In The Classroom). Nanase told Ellen to use her beam today if she hadn't already and Ellen responded that she did do so that morning at home. Nanase then explained about awakenings and Ellen laughed after hearing that initially Elliot will get spells that involve him turning into a girl.[55] Nanase reprimanded her but Ellen said her finding humor in it was justified, since she was permanently a girl. She then made light of Elliot's current situation based on the fact that it will pay off for him later. Grace then pointed out that he may have been seen transforming, which Ellen dismissed initially. Ellen then realized that Susan never mentioned if there were witnesses and frantically called her.[56]

Outside Moperville South, Abraham sensed Ellen's presence and wondered why there was no sense of panic or terror within either school. Probing deeper he sensed something else that was more unnatural then the supposed monster he sought.[57]

After school, at Tedd's house, Mr. Verres confirmed both Ellen and Elliot had been through an awakening using a magic analysis wand which scared Tedd.[58] He then explained more about the process of awakening, like the fact that they got magic through anime-style martial arts, the fact that uryuoms, seyunolus and uryuom technology like the transformation guns have a different kind of magic,[59] that Elliot and Ellen were improperly awakened by the Dewitchery diamond and the consequences of improper awakenings,[60] and the fact that Ellen would get out the phase of magic build up faster and with less build up than Elliot due to her being created by magic. He then told them how much harder it will be on Elliot,[61] which made Ellen feel very guilty for making light of it before.[62] After Mr. Verres finished his explanation, Sarah got a call from Susan that there was a news crew at Moperville North that showed up to cover the appearance of the bloodgrem. Elliot realized that his fighting of the bloodgrem led to a way to publicize Susan's cause, which made him happy to help.[63]

Moperville News[]

After school, Catalina was walking outside the school reflecting on her recent rejection by Susan when she caught sight of a news van. Meanwhile, Susan was approached by Principal Verrückt. He gave her a detention for violating the dress code. He proceeded to give a lecture about the consequences of her rebelliousness, as he believed that Susan did it primarily for the sake of rebelling.[64] Catalina ran to tell Susan about the news van, thinking this might be an opportunity to help publicize the uniform issue. Susan thanked her and pulled her along with her to get interviewed.[65]

At the news van Carol Brown was on the phone arguing with her boss, who didn't want to use the bloodgrem story. Carol brought up the uniform issue and was asked if she had anything new to report. Seeing Susan and Catalina she replied that she did.[66] Carol agreed to interview Susan and Catalina; during the interview Susan explained why she was wearing the boys' uniform and why the uniforms were sexist. When they were asked for other objections to the policy, Susan and Catalina brought up the negative laundry aspects for a lack of anything else they could object to. Carol sympathized with their cause telling them she wouldn't like being told she had to wear a skirt and wished them luck in their endeavor. After they went off the air Carol revealed she did actually need to wear skirts to boost ratings; Catalina commented that it worked.[67]

After the news crew had left, Catalina thanked Susan for including her and Susan thanked her for keeping her going and noticing the news crew in the first place. Catalina apologized for asking Susan out and Susan said she wished things were different. Susan quickly apologized for saying that and said she wanted to remain friends with her and said she was willing to do stuff with her outside school as friends. Catalina suggested a movie and Susan agreed to it.[68]

Later, at Mr. Raven's house, Carol was on TV with a story about the weird goings on at Moperville North mentioning the goo and the bloodgrem. At the description of the bloodgrem Raven's interest was piqued and he realized he may have to deal with who ever summoned the bloodgrem soon, so he decided to take his cane to school the next day.[69]

Weregirl[]

At the Dunkel residence, in order to make light of his needing to stay in a female form overnight, Elliot ran through a checklist ending with his "forgetting" to transform for the night. Ellen, meanwhile, was still ashamed of making fun of him earlier and apologized for it. Elliot told her that he preferred if she joked about it as it lightened the mood of the situation. Ellen tried to make a joke about it and Elliot brightened up.[70] Ellen then asked him if he was going to do a standard morph and Elliot reminded her that he had shown her, Grace and Tedd the form he ended up with at school, now named the "Gracelyn" form; Tedd fainted at the sight of it and Grace thought was cute. Ellen then suggested Elliot try picturing someone other than Grace while transforming and specifically suggested Carol. To Ellen's surprise, Elliot's clothes changed with him.[71] When Elliot was handed a mirror he realized he looked almost exactly like her. Helena commented on the reasons why this transformation was different, that Elliot and Ellen failed to realize, and complained that they were clueless.[72] Ellen and Elliot discussed the clothes aspect of his transformation and speculated on Ellen's potential new spells. Outside, Chaos noted that Ellen would need something powerful to resist being killed by Abraham.[73]

Meanwhile, in a cheap motel, Abraham argued with his bloodgrem over its actions and discovered the nature of the curse. The bloodgrem gave its theory and Abraham, not liking its insinuations, dismissed it.[74] Abraham argued with himself on whether to kill Ellen and decided that since he swore an oath to go through with all the abomination killings she had to die.[75]

The Dark Clouds Gather[]

At Moperville South High School on Wednesday morning (March 13), Ellen and Grace discussed the dark and foreboding nature of the weather. Mr. Raven overheard them and warned them not to tempt fate. Upon seeing Raven with his cane Ellen was reminded of her mental image of him as a pimp which made her shudder. Grace asked about his need for a cane[76] and Raven replied that it was due a hunting injury and that it acted up when there was trouble. He advised them to keep their guard up when he wielded his cane; Ellen interpreted that to mean he will hit them with it if they make trouble.[77]

Ellen was caught off guard when she saw Nanase coming toward them with a new hairstyle and new clothes.[78] They discussed what was new about her look and Ellen was saddened that she would no longer be able to swat Nanase's hair.[79] When they got to the cafeteria Nanase explained that she changed her look to stop hiding what clothes she preferred to wear in order to get non-hiding spells and gave credit to Ellen. Justin asked about her mother's reaction[80] (Nanase's mother was an authoritarian mother at the time, as shown in the storyline The After Party) and Nanase revealed it was not as bad as she thought.[81] Grace asked her about the inevitable spell she got as a result of this change in attitude and Nanase confirmed it was a hair change spell, which Nanase was less thrilled about, since she had just cut her hair and since it's a disguise spell. Justin was impressed by the spell while Ellen asked if it could be used to restore Nanase's original appearance.[82] This led to an argument about their differences of opinion about Nanase's new look and the lack of communication before she underwent the haircut[83] and Nanase left angrily with Justin. After Ellen pondered the argument for a few moments, Grace hit her in the back of the head for being a "dummy".[84] Grace then rubbed Ellen's head while Ellen admitted it was stupid to ask about the ponytail but insisted she still should have told her about it first.[85]

While the rest of them went to class, Nanase went to the restroom to reflect on the argument she had just had with Ellen.[85] In the spiritual plane Magus ranted at Nanase and was about to leave when Chaos stopped him, telling him that if he is not with Ellen she would die. Just then the power went out, plunging the school in darkness.[86] In the class that Ellen and Grace were in, the teacher tried the door to find it locked, which was unusual as normally they were always openable from the inside. When Nanase left the doorless restroom she found that the doors were all glowing and some of the hallways had glowing barriers.[87]

Talon vs. Scythe[]

Abraham appeared, stepping through a glowing barrier in a hall and turned to find Raven standing there. Raven told him he was trespassing.[88] Abraham asked him if the barriers were created by him and Raven called them standard lockdown procedure. Raven noted that they did not stop Abraham and asked him to restore power and communications, and surrender or die. Nanase tried to call Mr. Verres but could not because of the magical interference. She then overheard Abraham and Raven talking. Abraham explained his purpose there[89] and Raven recognized him by his infamous reputation. Abraham explained his failed attempts to destroy the Dewitchery Diamond and his decision to kill its creations.[90] Raven, angry that Abraham intended to destroy the unnatural only for being unnatural, revealed himself as an elf and challenged him to kill him. Abraham said Raven would not be allowed to interfere with his plans[91] but Raven said he could if it involved magic or an immediate threat to himself or others. Raven warned him that if he did not surrender he would be justified in killing him.[92]

When Abraham did not surrender, Raven gave him one last warning before attacking revealing his cane to contain a sword, slicing Abraham's hat in two and reverting to his young appearance.[92] Abraham summoned a sword and began to sword fight Raven. Nanase reflected on what she had just learned before deciding to contact Ellen by fairy doll, summoning Fox to guard her, and changing her hair to create a new doll.[93] As Raven and Abraham fought, Nanase tried and failed to reach Ellen. Raven was disarmed and leapt backward.[94] Abraham told him to surrender but Raven summoned a murder of crows to attack Abraham.[95] Abraham summoned a shield and defended against the crows which exploded on contact. Abraham taunted Raven for using a tactic he could easily defend against before realizing he had lost track of him. Raven appeared behind him and charged, leading Abraham to turn around to defend himself. Raven then revealed it was a ploy to distract him so he would be vulnerable to the crows.[96] Abraham went down and Raven was asking him to surrender again when Abraham released an energy blast[97] that blasted Raven through the wall and into the courtyard outside.[98]

With Raven incapacitated, his barriers came down and Nanase, seeing what had happened, had Fox attack Abraham.[98] While Fox engaged Abraham, Nanase ran to Ellen's classroom. Meanwhile, Ellen got out of her seat and went to the door. To her teacher's surprise, it opened and Ellen found one of Nanase's fairy dolls on the ground outside.[99] A moment later, Nanase herself appeared around the corner and ran to Ellen.[100] Before Nanase could reach her, Abraham threw a sleep grenade on the ground causing everyone except him to fall asleep including Grace.[101] When Nanase's summon Fox dissolved away, Abraham was surprised that it was a summon; he had only used the sleep grenade to avoid using lethal force on what he thought was a human. He took Ellen away to be killed and she held the fairy doll she had found.[102]

Wrath of God[]

Chaos appeared at Moperville South High School and restored Raven's disguise. Abraham explained to Ellen why he had to kill her[103] while Magus tried to make him stop by amplifying Abraham's guilt. Nanase was woken up by Chaos, disguised as Fox,[104] who told her that Ellen was in the forest about to be killed and Nanase needed to stall Abraham until her uncle came as she had called him. Nanase knew it wasn't really Fox, but didn't care since she could save Ellen.[105]

Nanase inhabited Ellen's fairy doll and used her Fae Punch spell to stop Abraham from killing Ellen.[106] When she tried to fight him, Abraham sliced the fairy doll in two.[107] Nanase created another and tried to talk to him but Abraham destroyed it as well. Nanase continued creating the dolls and tried to fight him but Abraham kept destroying them because he thought it was a trick by Raven.[108] The strain Nanase put herself through created a new spell, the Guardian Angel spell.[109] Using this new spell, Nanase quickly tracked down and knocked down Abraham.[110] She defended against all his hits. Abraham was angry that she impersonated an angel.[111] After grabbing him and lifting him high into the air, Nanase lectured Abraham about what he was about to do to Ellen saying she is a girl not a monster.[112] Abraham said he made an oath, but Nanase said he promised to protect people and that Ellen is a person. Abraham then swore not to hurt Ellen[113] and Nanase put him back on the ground.[114]

Nanase held him at sword point until Agent Cranium and Agent Wolf came to arrest him.[114] After that, Ellen was woken up and Nanase returned to normal, but the stress had exhausted her to the point of collapse and turned her hair black to Ellen's shock.[115] Edward Verres appeared and blasted Abraham with a magical attack using a wand. He ordered the agents to take Nanase to the hospital.[116]

When everyone else had left, Chaos told Magus to amplify Mr. Verres rage until he killed Abraham.[117] When Magus refused to do this, Chaos attacked him,[118] revealed her full name to be Pandora Chaos Raven and left him alone in the spiritual plane.[119]

Pandora's Box[]

At the hospital, Agent Cranium talked to Ellen about her experience and Ellen asked if Nanase was going to be okay. Nanase woke up and Cranium told her about her magic burn out and its consequences.[120] Nanase expressed her desire to open up about the secrets she had been keeping[121] but Cranium told her that a cover story had already been set up. Later, when Cranium talked to Mrs. Kitsune it was revealed that Mrs. Kitsune knew far more than what she had let on to her daughter.[122]

Meanwhile, at another hospital Adrian Raven was visited by his mother, Pandora, who arrived disguised as Agent Wolf. Once Raven saw through the deception[123] she berated him for fighting with Abraham while Raven yelled at his mother for allowing Abraham to attack the school.[124] After Raven insisted he wants to make a difference Pandora said she will destroy the world as we know it and replace it with one in which Raven could do as he pleased without restraint.[125]

Meanwhile, the real Agent Wolf visited the prison where Abraham was being held intending to interrogate him. However, a guard told him that Abraham was "stoned" and when he entered Abraham's cell he found him back in his stone statue with the inscription now reading "I rise only to atone for my sins"[126] (as opposed to the previous inscription which had read "I rise only to reap what I have sown", as seen in part 2, indicating his remorse for his actions).

Back at the first hospital, Cranium watched the aftermath of Abraham's attack on TV and worried about the publicity. Mrs. Kitsune assumed the look of a worried mother and ran into the room with Nanase only to find Ellen kissing her[127] (Nanase had previously kept their relationship secret since she feared her mother because she thought her mother hated lesbians, as mentioned in the storyline Night Out, Part 3) Ellen gave an absurd excuse while Nanase faced it head on. However, Mrs. Kitsune seemed unconcerned with that and only cared about Nanase's selflessness and well-being. As Ellen looked on, Mrs. Kitsune said it was a phase and that she will grow out of it which surprised and angered Nanase. Mrs. Kitsune told Nanase that they could argue about it later.[128]

After school at Moperville North High School, Principal Verrückt approached Susan to tell her that due to her appearance on TV the dress code had been lifted. However he revealed the reason had to do with complaints over the laundry aspect of it as opposed to the sexism aspect which left Susan with mixed feelings about it.[129]

Meanwhile, Mr. Verres met with his colleague Assistant Director Liefeld to discuss his actions and the situation as a result of Abraham's attack. Liefield revealed that Mr. Verres would be promoted to a position created for the purpose of keeping him within the organization but away from investigations.[130]

At Moperville North, Carol the reporter sought to fill time by interviewing random students who want to be on TV. While she was interviewing Rhoda, Pandora appeared. She called attention to herself by appearing out of nowhere, floating and laughing before disappearing in a blast of light and disruptive radiation.[131]
