Grace-A-Monsters! is the forty fourth storyline in EGS:NP. It started with the EGS:NP Comic for 2018-06-11 and ended with the EGS:NP Comic for 2018-08-31.

It's a Pokémon parody with Justin in the main role and all of the monsters based on Grace.

Summary[]

In the first strip professor George, along with a Bunny Grace, introduced the premise of the storyline, where the world is inhabited by Grace-a-monsters.[1]

The player (here, but nowhere else, the world is implied to be a video game) was asked whether to be Justin or Nanase and chose Justin. George then offered to let Justin rename himself and Nanase and referred to Nanase as his grandson[2] (in this summary the names of their canon counterparts will be used).

Three options for a starter Grace were presented to Justin and Nanase: a plant Grace or Graceasaur, a water Grace or ShellGrace and a fire Grace or Gracemander.[3] Justin chose the fire Grace and Nanase chose the water Grace.[4] When Justin and Nanase saw their Graces fight for the first time they felt bad and Nanase forfeited the fight.[5] Then Ellen, who called the others fools as part of her efforts to sound evil, declared that she was stealing the Graceasaur even though she was supposed to have the remaining starter Grace. Nanase was rendered speechless by her attraction to Ellen.[6]

After Justin and Gracemander left they encountered a wild Rat Grace and Gracemander and the Rat Grace wanted to play.[7] Justin tried to stop their fighting but the Graces insisted on what they saw as playing.[8]

Then Justin met Edward Verres, who offered a tutorial about Graces, but Justin wasn't interested.[9]

Justin phoned George to ask a question. George admitted that the claims of the Grace-a-dex were false. The actual question was about Gracemander slapfighting without needing his input and George answered that the Graces would be more turn-based after learning more moves. Indeed, Gracemander asked Justin what to do.[10]

Then Justin and Gracemander met Mr. Tensaided, who challenged them for a fight. Justin said that his Graces were too tired so Tensaided offered to escort them.[11] After Gracemander had rested Tensaided again challenged her to fight his BeeGrace. Before the fight Gracemander thanked BeeGrace for escorting them.[12] Gracemander won the fight thanks to her type advantage.[13]

The win against BeeGrace earned Gracemander enough XP to metamorphose into a bigger Gracemander or Gracemeleon.[13] Then Justin and Gracemander encountered Nanase with her ShellGrace and Ellen with her Graceasaur. Nanase and Ellen were both surprised that they weren't the only one whose Grace had metamorphosed.[14] Ellen left in the hope that her Graceasaur would metamorphose to her final form before the others. Nanase's attraction to Ellen made her blush so that ShellGrace though she was overheated and splashed her with water.[15] Justin laughed at Nanase and ShellGrace splashed him too.[16] Charlotte and her HypnoGrace saw them while Nanase and Justin were naked because Gracemander was drying their clothes and turned away. Nanase and Justin said that it was not what it looked like.[17] After Nanase explained what had happened, HypnoGrace hypnotized Justin.[18]

Later Justin ordered Gracmander to cut down a tree and Gracemander, who didn't know such a move, burned the tree with her fire breath.[19]

George explained to the readers that Graces go to a pocket dimension when their trainer needs to travel.[20]

A FeatherGrace shrank Justin so that he could fit in a pocket to let her fly him.[21] Then a PsyGrace turned him into a merman to travel across water.[22] While traveling underwater as a merman he saw Elliot, Greg and Noah, who were mermen too.[23]

Then Justin encountered Sarah and Diane.[24] Sarah claimed that they were criminals but Diane explained that they were roleplaying it to make things more interesting to other trainers. She also mentioned that she did it for their cool outfits,[25] which made Sarah sad. Diane reassured her that she didn't follow Sarah only for the outfits and they hugged[26] and kissed, which made them too busy for their Graces to play with Gracemander.[27]

Greg and his Grachamp offered to play with them instead.[27] Greg mentioned that he, unlike in canon, was not much older than Justin and Justin was attracted to him.[28] Justin summoned a Gradabra but Gracemander entered the fight instead.[29] Grachamp got a critical hit on Gracemander, which sent her flying.[30] Greg told Justin that the underdog will win if they harness the power of friendship[31] and explained that they can do so by taking her to a Grace-a-mall to spoil her with fun. Gracemander liked that suggestion[32] and Justin decided to do so.[33]
