Elliot tells Ellen that she is probably hungry. He doesn't tell her that she transformed Tedd but implies that Tedd did it himself. When Tedd asks Elliot why he didn't tell Ellen that she transformed him Elliot explains that he acted on his gut feeling and that Ellen and Grace would have worried if he told her.
