Canons Fired is the fifty-third storyline in EGS:NP. It started with the EGS:NP Comic for 2021-08-31 and ended with the EGS:NP Comic for 2021-09-11.
It shows Justin and Luke arguing about the canon of a fictional universe. Dan has said that he wuld declare the storyline canon if it wasn't antithetical to the storyline.

Justin told Luke that he saw recent books of a franchise as non-canon since they go against the artistic vision of his favorite author of the franchise but Luke said that they are canon.[1] They asked Grace to settle their argument.[2] Grace said that neither of them was wrong and Luke and Justin tried to figure out how both could be right.[3] Justin suggested a multiverse or time travel to reconcile their views.[4] They asked Grace for clarification and she said that it's subjective[5] and that the universe of the franchise isn't real anyway, which made Justin sad.[6]
