Blanket is the fifty-fourth storyline in EGS:NP. It started with the EGS:NP Comic for 2021-09-14 and ended with the EGS:NP Comic for 2021-10-09.
It shows Grace and Sarah discussing whether cuddling is only for couples. It is canon.
Summary[]
The storyline started with Sarah and Grace talking about a streaming service that had a new TV series. Sarah was impressed by streaming. Mr. Tensaided (in a fourth-wall-breaking panel outside the story) said that his video rental store was still better.[1]
In Tedd's house, with Tedd and Grace, Sarah complained about the basement being chilly.[2] Grace suggested transforming to her form so that she could borrow warm clothes from Grace.[3] Then she suggested changing into furry or fat forms to stay warm but Tedd suggested simply using a blanket.[4] Grace suggested that the three of them huddle together under the blanket though it is big enough that they wouldn't need to.[5] She complained about people seeing cuddling among friends differently than she does and went off on a tangent about strangers being physically intrusive on buses.[6] Sarah said that cuddling is something couples do and mentioned Tedd and Elliot as an example of friends who wouldn't cuddle since they are not in a relationship. Grace said that Tedd and Elliot should cuddle without it being a romantic relationship.[7] Sarah said that cuddling is awkward to most people if they are not in a relationship because they might be attracted to each other and Grace conceded.[8]
Then Tedd wanted to get on with watching the streamed TV show. He hoped that it would have more swearing than would be permissible for shows broadcast on TV.[9]
When they watched the show Grace and Tedd cuddled under the blanket and Sarah blushed when she looked at them.[10]
